Kinkajous are South American
cousins of the raccoon. They are noctual animals, which means they typically
sleep during the day and become active close to dusk. As the newest residents
of the sanctuary, our pair of kinkajous are still becomming accustomed
to routines. They have incredbile sweet tooths, however, and have learned
to come out during the day if they sense a treat is nearby. |
