Spanky and Ivy, two young Java macaques, were recently confiscated by the California Department of Fish and Game as illegal pets. Although they were found in a small cage with no door in their owner's motorhome, they are in excellent health and enjoy grooming each other. They have adjusted very well to a large enclosure outdoors where they keep a close eye on passing chickens.
